Overview

This case demonstrates the coupled electrochemical–thermal simulation of a lithium-ion battery cell including current collector tabs. The electrochemistry is described by the Newman–Tiedemann–Gu–Kim (NTGK) model, coupled to a heat transport equation across the cell regions.
